You add all 3 together to get the OTT measurement. Also the tape I am using has the estimated weights under the inches, and as I look at the tape a C measurement of 58 1/2" = 63 lbs. I read the wrong line on the tape. I always round up the next highest number.
Like I said I did read my tape wrong last year as well, but I was using a different tape. It also works better to always use the same spot to measure, with the 'bumps' on the outside it can difficult to find the same spot everyday. I should use a marker to make sure I find the same spot. |

Been a few days since I last updated, I thought the 1081 was slowing down. I pruned 5 or 6 little 'kins that the bees provided me with and pruned a bit of salad off as well. I also added some 8-24-24 to patch and added a small amount to my last batch of tea, and have increased the watering times to 2 hours per day.

That is totally amazing. I think the temp is too hot for us this year. I'm trying to decide whether to keep watering or give up, I still have a long way to go. You are on your way to a champ.
good luck, neva |

It will be 100* for at least a few more days here. I think the 1081 likes the heat.

Neva... I wish I had one to keep watering. Something ate the three pumpkins I planted. Next year I will have to come up with some way of protecting them.
