Default Honey Bees working the Cucumbers
Working 7 to dusk; I usually see 3 of them.

The Turquoise Bees are very cool; I'm seeing multiples this year. They don't go near the cucumber plant; it's like the honey bees called it off limits.

I will see honey bees everywhere but only see the Turquoise Bees by the tomato plants.

I love Bees and am so amazed they never get caught on the yellow sticky traps.

Yesterday I had a giant bumble bee in the garden.

Marsha - So what is the verdict on Sustane? Is it any better than Espoma TT?
I thought the granular from UrbanFarms (TTF maker) was the best but the first 6 lb bag is $22.95; get's cheaper with more bags but even with 4 bags it's still over $2.65 per pound. ($63.80 for 24 lbs)

Amazon has Sustane 20 lbs for $36.23 or $1.81 a pound. My stash of TT was < $1 per pound.

Verdict is still out on it. Most of the community garden stuff I planted is only in the pots with the Sustane for about 2 weeks. I need a few months to see what it is doing. I would say for now go with what you know, Barb.

Most of the seedlings I transplanted didn't made it or look too weak, a few are healthy. So starting seeds again...
