I fed the few worms in the tubs some cornmeal and coffee grounds.
Then I read about corn gluten.
Then I read cornmeal doesn't have gluten in it.
Whatever the case I hope I didn't kill the sprouts or things about to sprout.

I want to make a chicken coup (house ?) such that they can go free ranging.
But there are many many chicken hawks. Will they prey on fully grown chicken ?

Don't know but the owl is known as the perfect predator. They can hear a mouse from a quarter mile away and their feathers are fashioned in a way that makes their flight completely silent.

Sometimes. I used to free range anywhere from 60 to 80, you lose one or two a month to owls, hawks and coyotes.

I just searched - I didn't know cornmeal gluten is used for a pre-emergent. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/spe...the-garden.htm
