Default Megabloom Masquerading as a Horn Worm

This is the largest megabloom I've seen. Actually, I suppose it is no longer a megabloom, but a fruit from a megabloom.

It's 4 1/2 months too early to plant anything outside. I grew this plant to get pollen for a cross and found this fruit as I was about to throw it away. It is still in a 4" cup at this point. I'm trying to decide whether to try keeping this growing in a small pot and feeding it to see what it becomes.

Is there a chance of getting one of those large ugly monsters to grow indoors in a pot? This is a Dwarf Firebird Sweet - an unreleased variety from the Dwarf Projet. Will it stunt it to transplant it into a larger pot at this stage?

Either way, I found it interesting.
