LOL. Mine are potato leaf, too (all seven of them). I wasn't expecting that. This is my seed source; they don't specify a leaf type in the description. I wonder if it's the same version as yours. I ordered mine in late spring, 2016.

Just signed on to sing the praises of Chocolate Stripe PL - er - Not Chocolate Stripe - or whatever it is! Love it. Love it better than Girl Girl Weird Thing. Good meaty, heavy tomatoes with that dark tomato taste (smoky?).

It slices great, a little salt, a little mayo . . .

Mine came to me from a member as "Chocolate Stripe." It is on my regrow list above GGWT.

I grew one NCS this year, seeds from Marsha. It is a very robust and productive plant, I have gotten around 15 lbs. of tomatoes off of it so far. Delicious- sweet, like a Cherokee Purple. They blush in a very light chocolate color, and fully ripe, they are solid light purple/brown. Great tomato!!

I got my seeds from a different member: PL and looks a lot like GGWT but with a more pronounced brown hue.

Growing a few NCS this year, thanks for the seeds Marsha. As she said they are very productive and delicious. A definite grow next year.

Darin, Your description is dead on, but if you look closely I think you should see some faint striping. The light chocolate color and heavy production, delicious taste all fit.

Marsha- indeed I do notice some faint striping of green and even a lighter color. Here are a few examples from today- apologies for the catfacing!
