You Don't. The only way would be to grow two identical plants side by side with and w/out myco's and compare. As long as you buy from reputable companies and check the expiration date of the product you shouldn't have any problems.

I use different products that have myco's added, Fox Farms Light Warrior, Nexdorff Tomaten Dunger to name a few but I always use a Wild Card. When setting out my plants I make up a dip solution consisting of MycoGrow Soluable, Biota Max and Actinovate. I dip the plants in the solution and then plant them. This way I know the plants are innoculated and the companies that make these products are all top of the line. If you want to go with just the Myco's you can purchase an ounce of MycoGrow Soluable for $5.95 plus postage and thats enough to innoculate 125-250 plants. Ami
