Thanks for the compliments everyone! Thought I'd share some more pictures, I know I enjoy looking at everyone's gardens. The tomatoes in the garden are growing like mad, all have set fruit. The dwarf plants are going great, along with the pepper tree on the deck and the Black and Brown Boar in the container. Looking like we should have our first ripe Sungold in maybe 10 or so days.

Some thoughts at the end of June regarding the tomatoes in the garden, any comments are welcome.

-Growing Sungold, Golden Monarch, Wisconsin 55, Purple Bumble Bee, Black Krim, Celebrity, Black and Brown Boar, Vince's Haze Dwarf, Lucky Swirl Dwarf, and Experiment Tomato (seed from store bought yellow cherry)

-Tomatoes are all doing very well this year, in June we've had nights slightly above normal for temps and days near normal. Humidity has been high with ample rainfall.

-Sungold and Purple Bumble Bee tomatoes are most prolific plants and setting the most fruit. Golden Monarch is the tallest by a bit, but has least fruit set.

-Purple Bumble Bee tomatoes are fairly uniform elongated cherries, except one tomato is notably larger. I'll take a closer look and post a picture if true.

-The experiment tomato (seed from widely available store bought yellow cherry) is loaded with fruit. The plant is PL and fruit looks to be same shape as fruit purchased in the store.

-Found a couple leaves with looks like SLS on Black and Brown Boar--removed and will treat all tomatoes after rainfall expected Sunday and Monday. Luckily this tomato plant is in a container.

-I still enjoy the smell of Sungold foliage.

-First fruits (two Sungolds) started showing a slight yellow blush today--so the onslaught is coming.

Very beautiful garden and healthy tomato plants!
I enjoyed the pictures. Such a big difference each week, they are growing so fast

Love the blocks!

Thanks! I'm excited for the Purple Bumble Bee, they are a pretty looking green tomato. Can't wait for them to ripen and see how they taste. They are fairly uniform elongated cherry, except this one bigger tomato. Any idea why one tomato would be much larger than the rest?

The first tomato may be larger if it is a fused fruit. Yours look like it.

Good call, I've had that happen before, just never on a cherry tomato.

Some more pictures: tomato plants in the garden, photo showing the height, Black Krim and Wisconsin 55 fruits.

Did my first blossom bagging today using cheese cloth and some twine. I know chances of crosses are low, but we do have a decent bumble bee presence by our house, so I decided to bag. I figured even if my technique isn't perfect, the already low probability of crosses combined with my largest candidate for cross pollination are bumble bees, makes the chances of getting a cross in these bagged blossoms quite small. I bagged both dwarf project varieites, Black and Brown Boar, Experiment cherry, Purple Bumble Bee, Black Krim and Golden Monarch. The Wisconsin 55 didn't have any blossoms suitable for bagging today.

Happy 4th!

Nice and tidy. It looks great. The marigolds really soften the edges.

The garden continues to grow well and the tomato onslaught will be coming, just wanted to share some pictures. In order: Black Krim are setting good amounts and nice looking fruits, Purple Bumble Bees are getting big and should start to turn soon (the plant is very prolific and is my most aggressive suckering plant), and Golden Monarch is setting a fair amount of good looking fruit (it is the tallest tomato in the main garden, edging Sungold by just a bit, although Sungold is fuller).

Some more pictures. First is the first Purple Bumble Bee cherry starting to blush and the next one are the main garden tomatoes. The Wisconsin 55 and Experiment Cherry are both starting to change now as well. The Sungold production continues to ramp up. The plants are generally healthy with just a bit of pruning needed if any leaves begin to look suspect with our wet year so far. And finally a flower picture for good measure.

Thanks! No the photo you linked to are my Dwarf Project plants (2 Vince's Haze and 2 Lucky Swirl).

The Purple Bumble Bee plant is the middle front plant in this picture http://www.tomatoville.com/attachmen...1&d=1405563399

It is 5.5-6.0 feet tall at this point, very heavy foliage and my first tomatoes are starting to ripen, might have one to try as early as this weekend.

Well the 2014 garden is nearly in the books as I cleared most of the garden beds out this week (just a potted pepper and 1 tomato plant remain). 2014 was a good year and I'll probably share a few more pictures of various things over the coming months now that there is no more gardening to do and 2015 to start dreaming up. The 2015 garden actually started yesterday with the planting of my Chesnok red garlic.
