Karen, will these seeds be offered by Bene Seeds or are you going to use another vendor?

Well hello Patti
Depending what you are looking for of mine I can suggest where you might find good seeds to buy if that is what you are wanting to know but some are probably already sold out unfortunately. Presumably you are wanting to purchase Cowboy seed since you are asking in this thread about my Cowboy? Feel free to message me if you like and I can maybe help you in your search for Cowboy seeds. It’s a very delicious tomato, I am quite proud of it since it is named in memory of my Dad and it has received a lot of great reviews in its first season out in the world outside my gardens. Take care and happy holidays Karen Olivier Last edited by KarenO; December 18, 2023 at 04:51 AM. |

I just got some Cowboy through the vendor Scoville Canada. They seem to still have them available. Coming back home to Alberta, I mean, Calgary is called Cowtown, so how can i not? Love the tribute to Karen's dad as well.

Karen, while I'm always on the lookout for another fabulous tomato, I was just wondering if this product would still be placed with this vendor after Fred's unfortunate passing. I like to know where to direct folks to find the good tomatoes.
I love the name and what makes it more special is that you have named it in honor of your father. Since you are so proud of this creation, it is a wonderful way to commemorate him.

Cowboy is regular leaf. It is a wonderful tomato. I grew it for the first time last year, and now it's on my "every year" list.

I'm also a huge fan of Karen's tomatoes and have shared seeds over the years with friends who have also loved them. Have been unable to find seed for Cowboy though--I had checked Secret Seed Cartel over the past months and it (and many others) continue to be "out of stock", and Bene Seeds never listed Cowboy as available (at least at the times when I checked). Is there any other source for US growers? Anyone have a couple of seeds to share? Thanks!

For sources, I got my seed direct but that was year before last. I follow her on FB and had to have it when I saw it. Growing it again this year. Very excited to see some of her latest projects come to market as well. |
