Jillian, beautiful pictures. Love all your peppers. Quiet interesting varieties.
What is the name of that heart shaped tomato in your hand (green)? Is it ripe yet?

Lindalana, I water the grow bags every other day unless it has been really hot with no rain. I feel of them daily.

efisakov, I highly recommend!

A few goodies from garden today, and then a sick plant. This was from a sucker of GGWT that I potted up a few weeks ago. It looked great at first, then started curling and now looks like this. I know it looks like herbicide damage but I just cannot figure out how it would have happened. Could it be a virus? Should I pull it?

Thanks, Jillian

Severe herbicide damage, yes pull, that will never recover. Very sorry.

Thanks Marsha. The only way I can figure this happened was by my own hand. I composted some lawn clippings from neighbors and never questioned their use of herbicide. Never again. Live and learn.

I had it happen to a grape tomato plant one time from wind born herbicide my neighbor sprayed.
The only plant in the garden and it was in the middle of all places.

Your Green Tiger tomato looks so good. How is the taste for you?

I am in love with both Green Tiger and Blush. To me both of them are the perfect tomato for salads and pico de gallo. The taste is very similar IMO, blush may be a bit milder.

I could not figure out how to describe individual pics. My apologies. My garden is nothing special but just thought I would share.

Salsa? Recipe please?
Also that Ozone pepper- is it sweet one? Looks gorgeous, love that blush!

I double or triple recipe, we eat lots of salsa. Last batch made with lots of different tomatoes and peppers from the garden, sweet, hot, very hot. Added a couple squirts of agave nectar to balance the heat. Very simple but really the best **** salsa!

Feher ozon is a paprika, somewhat sweet with a hint of spice. Also growing Leutshauer paprika which has a little kick and is a production machine!

I read that Ozone peppers are depleting the ozone layer at 20 times the rate of chlorofluorocarbons
