I sent mail. If I am too late; it was still exciting. I tried to mail you fast, so I didn't even get the name right. Granny's Heart what an appealing name.

I think I forgot also, sending today. If you are out it's ok. I may have enough for this year anyhow.

The offer is closed now for USA requests. Everyone who has responded here and in a private message up to now will receive seeds. I'll reply to the private messages with my address to send the SASE by tomorrow.

Canada requests to retiree are still open.

Just to let you know that Granny's Heart is growing in California. Good germination and healthy 2 1/2" seedlings.

Great to know, Linda! The seeds are so tiny and I didn't do a germination test so I was wondering how well they'd do. Thanks.

Sorry Beefy Boy,

The offer was closed over a week ago. All the seeds I had available have been distributed. I will save more this year for all those I couldn't supply. Thanks,

And I'm sure that some of the folks who also got seeds and will be growing it out this summer will also have seeds to share in the Seed Exchange Forums at a later date.

I know I'm looking forward to growing it b'c I'm a dedicated heart lover, of the tomato kind.

Barkeater, I hope you don't mind me putting my results in this thread until you open a new thread yourself.

Granny's Heart was my first heart tomato to set fruit this year. Donskoi was a close second for comparison. Bobbie, Hays', and Kardia Karpos have no fruit set yet. Germination was great and I had room for one plant in a 15 gallon container on the patio, set outside on March 1, 2011.
