Need a big bowl to catch the chafe. I like to roast outside but way too cold here. A big box helps contain the heat. I can roast downstairs in my project/seed starting micro green 'farm' room with the door shut and the window cracked open. Or the garage. Puts out a bit of a roasting fog. |

If they're still using a pod brewer (paper pods not K-cups), then check out the Coffee Fool - https://www.coffeefool.com When we had our old Bunn pod brewer, they were the only source I could find for pods worth using. Like all their coffees, roasted, packed and shipped every week. And fantastic customer service! |

A vote for Costa Rica and Guatemala, to my taste buds the opposite of Sumatra and Ethiopia.
I've encountered some really good ones from Chiapas and Veracruz. Hard to beat a good one from Brasil, especially when you're down there. Thanks for all the great info nctomatoman, just what we all needed, egging on to dive into another rabbit hole! But what tasty journeys abound. |
