Here is an update. My two 05-69 mules have fruit and they are pictured in the first 3 pictures. 05-68 RL next 2 pictures show a cluster ready for harvest and the next 2 are beefsteak size fruits weighing about 1lb each. Last 2 pictures are first harvest off of 05-69 PL and larger fruit still in the green stage. Ami

OK, here is my 05-69 mule fruit up close and sliced, first 5 pictures. Taste was very good. The next 7 pictures are the RL 05-68 and this plant is throwing out hearts, small and large beefsteaks and ovals. Flavor is 8-8.5 but not as good as the 05-69 mule or the 05-69 PL fruit. Ami

Here is the second fruit off of my 05-69 mule. Completely different color from the rest and I like the flavor. I picked it on Tuesday and the first 4 pictures are from yesterday and the rest are from today. Ami

Finished out and here's some pictures of PL1. I have to say that the taste was pretty good. I ate one BLT with this one and the DW had a tomato sandwich. Straight out by itself, this one was more like a 8 out of ten.

I'll probably grow this one again next year.

And, Craig, PL6 was the only tomato that I could declare as "crop failure" this year. That "mule" wasted a lot of my time and then died after throwing weird blooms. I still have a few seeds, so I'll try again next season.

Overall, Craig, thanks for letting us experiment. I'll have seeds headed your way on RL4 and PL1 soon.

Ted
