I was able to clear out the mess and debris from a spot in the yard waste and compost area and made room for 3 tomato plants.

First time using grow bags. I was able to find a spot for two more tomato plants at the edge of the tiny pond.

That’s great! What mix did you go with in your bags?

Question? Can nematodes penetrate grow bags?

Lucky for me the cages are sturdy enough (and the potting soil dense enough) to allow the legs of the cage to just rest on the bottom of the bag w/o having to stake the cage's legs into the soil. I was just wondering if maybe the larvae of the worms were tiny enough to worm (pun intended) their way through the fabric of the bag.

These are in the "regular" tomato bed. There ARE nematodes in this area.

Plants are looking robust and have either buds or flowers. A few plants have tiny baby tomatoes.

Shrink, those look nice and healthy with thick stems. What kind are the potato leafed?
