TexasTomatO -that was fast! True leaves already. I think Texas warmth will be a nice thing for them, but they seem to like Karen's cold too.
WXCrawler, those look pretty healthy to me. Nice to see those familiar Pls.
I am so excited for you all, mine is winding down, so I have to live vicariously.
Doing just fine, getting all the same loving care as the rest. They're in the cool room but under lights that are away from the window until they get their true leaves. When I pot them up they'll go to the colder window spot for awhile, and then out to the greenhouse.
They say that "cold treatment" of seedlings activates their cold tolerance gene expression. I'm sure Karma Pink will be fine!

I think it will be so interesting in this trial that people from all over who all do things differently are growing the same KARMA pink seeds. love to see these early photos!

I have FRUIT set. 4 out of the 6 flowers on the plant I posted before.

And I transplanted the other 2 plants to an Earthbox I was using for growing lettuce and one of them already has fruit set too.

Woo-Hoo.

Do you want a picture?

Dear Barb,
Thank you for the update! Sown late January correct? Blooms and fruit set already is wonderful. The DTM to First ripe has been around the 62 day mark for both Marsha and I. You are on track to match that or maybe even a touch earlier
And I never say no to photos but you can choose whenever you wish to post

Mine are up! 100% germination and the fastest so far this year. Fully erect 4 days from sowing. They may have been peeking out last night but I didn't have a chance to check. Great seeds!

I need to take another picture of my one plant. The plant has really filled out and has another truss flowering. The other EB with 2 KP that was planted later, one is flowering, and the other with fruit has a second truss flowering.

Big winds tomorrow - constant 24 MPH...yuk
