Among my seedlings they are the most vigorous. Thank you, girls.

![]() ![]() ![]() Pics right before the wind snapped the stem nearly off at the base. I planted it in the ground and hoping it can make a come back. These have been super vigorous and caught up to the last batch of seedlings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Some of the flowers on the 2nd clusters have now set fruit. I was going to post last night that the tiny fruits shown up thread were the size of large marbles; now they are the size of a round quarter.
On the one plant, I counted 6 different flower or bud clusters going. I'm so excited that everyone else's is coming along as well. |

That happened to me a couple of times and I ended up with 2 plants. Hopefully, the same goes for you.

It will come back if you planted it deep. Might wilt for 3 days first.

That's too bad, it was a nice looking seedling. It's just got it's second set of leaves, are they hardened off already to plant in the ground in the wind? Getting quite a test if it survives, I hope it does. not too late to replant if not.

They get less wind in the ground than on my deck, they’re sunken about 4 inches below the sides of the raised beds. I Planted deep so hopefully it will make it. I may throw a humidity some over it to help for the first few days. We’re already hitting the high 80’s so it is definitely going to be out through the ringer. It’s been a sturdy plant so far so I’ve got hope it will make it. I don’t do too much hardening off before planting out. I just stick em deep and let them go. I have the seedlings outside pretty much after they first sprout so they’re already in the environment they’re going to be planted in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I see, if you grow them outside from the start they are already hardened off. I’m always looking at things from my northern perspective. It may just do fine, time will tell

I had 100% germination of the five seeds I started. I am very excited about this variety.
