You should draw an animated cartoon of that. I think he was trying to convince you to become vegan!

One time two friends and I went to a chili cook off in West Texas at a place called Castle Gap.
At the cook off two friends of mine got married and there was a wet tee shirt contest.
Somewhere during the festivities I lost my truck keys in the desert so I had to ride back with my friend in his truck.
An old Chevy with a 454 in it.
He decided it would be a good idea to steal a calf and BBQ it the next day so we ended up with a wild calf in the truck with three of us.
It tried to beat us to death before we could get it out of the truck.
Plus it's mother was trying to kill us.
While we were in the desert we got a flat on our right front tire and with no spare.
So Charlie decided to just drive the ten miles back to town on the flat at 60 miles an hour.
The front tire was a steel belted radial and the wires locked up the rim so now we are sliding on one tire down the highway with a shower of sparks flying out the side of the truck.
We had a red rag for a gas cap and the sparks were landing in it too.
Everything is going great until the road block up ahead stopped us.
Like three cop cars all with guns drawn.
What are you all doing did you know you had a flat.
Coming back from the chili cook off, yes.
Is that one of them one of the cops asked.
No they are just coming back from the cook off I know them and they are okay.
We all knew everybody there.
You guys head on back to town we are on the look out for a hit and run a rapist and an armed robber.
If you run across him dont hesitate to shoot this is what he is driving.
So off we went.
We parked the truck at someones house we knew and ran home.
The next day we cut what was left of the wheel off the truck and the guy whose house we parked the ruck at came out.
Jimmy told us all about last night.
Someone robbed the store raped the gal and then ran over one of our girl friends little boy but did not kill him during the get away.
The PPS officer in town we knew found and chased him down and shot him dead out in the middle of nowhere that night.
Later I asked him how much of a chance he gave the guy.
His answer was I gave him the same chance he gave the other two people.
When I saw the gun I shot him.

I couldn't imagine how I would feel in your situation. It has to be extremely frustrating. Do a search for deer hunting with a Howitzer. It will brighten your day!👍

Just Terrible !.....you need a strategy of some kind to make sure you get to enjoy your garden investment . .... I don't think you can count on the government to ask the deer to be nice and respectful like ....

I might consider a pet Siberian Tiger ...would be nice to go with all my Siberian Tomatoes ...
The deer might like Siberian Tomatoes ...but not so much Siberian Tiger....

I once got back at a guy 6 years after he pulled a stunt on me.
He knew I was going to do it and lived in fear for 6 years.
Just get it over with this is killing me he would say.

I have found out over the years that, deer in general don't like maters, but, there is that one that develops a taste for them. Most times it is a doe raising fawns, and she teaches the fawns to eat them, then the problem really gets good the next year. I had that problem develop a few years ago in my tater patch. NEVER had I had a problem with deer eating tater vines before. I eliminated the problem on conformation the next year. No problems since!

There was a real jerk on the job site no one liked him.
One day he got up in a guys face and started poking him in the chest.
The guy just stood there in front of everyone and took it with a smile on his face.
The jerk was a sprinkler fitter and ran iron pipe all over the building.
About 6 months later when the jerk went to turn on the water to the pipe there were little 1/16th inch pin holes drilled in the pipe everywhere.
Some of them 50 feet in the air.

I noticed a few years ago in my area the certain deer ....preferred the

early rugose leaf foliage over ...regular or potato ....they would step over about 70 varieties mixed in random containers of Tomato and chomp the various rugose leaf ..including Siberia (dwarf) in various locations .....geese must be nice to choose from the smorg !

I am thinking this is just one doe doing this.
She even got in my driveway and pruned Fred.
I honestly haven't had a problem this bad until the deer feeder showed up.
There isn't one thing in the garden they haven't ate on.
Every time there is new growth it gets ate back.

I don't know if this would work at all for deer, but I put up a very simple two wire fence around our flower beds. It keeps my brother's dog from getting in the flower beds and digging everything up. It's got to be the hole digging-est dog of all time. And he digs craters where he can lay in them and you can't see him. He could easily step over the wires but he doesn't.

They are jumping a horse fence flat footed to get on my property.
Then where the feeder is there is a 4 foot chain link fence they jump.

Maybe it's our grandchildren driving me crazy, but I have this picture of a volleyball net above the horse fence and watching the deer jump up and get thrown back

ahhhh maybe the problem isn't the "deer" but the "deerfeeder"

maybe the deer would get clumsy and rambunctious and take the deerfeeder out .. LOL

hard to say what the strategy would be to shut down a deerfeeder...that helped the deerfeed on yer garden .

I strung surplus telephone wire up for the season about 1 foot above the fence line then another Ft above that .(unbarbed etc. ) and it stopped them as they didn't like the unsure Leap they would have to make.
