Here, it could be my conditions.
![]() The majority of cherry, red, and orange tomatoes are bland tasting, coming from my garden. Pinks, hearts (of any color), blacks, greens, etc...are usually full flavored, even though I might despise the flavor (of most black and green tomatoes). The pH of my garden soil is likely about 5.5, which possibly could be a contributing factor. |

My soil is from a bag and I grow all tomatoes in containers... with amendments and natural ferts every variety usually has flavor - except last summer, when the heat wave really messed up the process
