Ah it has a unique sweet taste, no bitterness hard to describe accurately.A personal try is needed. We dip it into our home made cacao/hazelnut sauce and eat promptly.Dolçe Vita!

Deborah, you're right Nutella inspired us.We don't like store bought processed food at all.Home made sauce is a better and safer substitute.

Default Tamarillo

My 1 year old Solanum betaceum 'Tamarillo' in diatomite.I've grown it in subirrigation pots containing diatomite and repotted twice. It's in a 5 lt pot with a side hole at the moment.I expect to taste fruits in summer, mine is yellow/sweeter fruited cultivar.Tamarillos are used to flower and set fruit in their second year.

Default What impressive pictures !!

Levent,
The photos of your Micro tomato flowers and the Red Robin are just fabulous !!
How were you able to capture every hair on the stems in such detail ?
Is it the lighting ? Do you spray the plant to pick up the light ?
The details are so clean and clear in each picture...
Impressive !

baileyj, it's a nice compliment thank you very much!
It's just magic! OK I confess it wasn't...lol
First of all I must state that I'm no photographer just a macro enthusiast with a compact camera. In this photo I didn't spray over plants, if I did you would see tiny drops on hairs. All I do is to capture my angle of view through the lens, appropriate lighting and a bit post processing.Hope everybody enjoy it
