Thank you for correcting me Carolyn. I certainly wouldn't want to misspell Tollie's last name. I think I will post without putting the breeder info from now on. Just to be safe.

It's oft said the it's best to be safer than sorry, but I think it's best when posting about a variety to give credit to the person who bred it, if that's the case, and I do when I know the breeder in my seed offers here.

So I do hope that you continue to give credit to the person(s) who breed varieties.

Heck, do you know how many times I've misspelled someones name, I'll just say many times and leave it at that.

Default Iraqi Heart

Unfortunate name for this sweet meaty very productive plant with fruits that are between paste and heart sized. Flavor is so sweet. I just love this fresh, but I can't wait to make a batch of ketchup using this.
Indet. wispy RL foliage, very long vines.

Iraqi Heart cut fruit. Saving lots of seeds, and for sure I will grow again.

Marsha, is what you have the same as what Tania lists for it?

http://t.tatianastomatobase.com/wiki/Iraqi_Heart

And it's also listed in the 2015 SSE Yearbook by Andrew Still himself.

Looks like a good one.

Default Maglia Rosa

This is such a beautiful and prolific small fruited tomato. Flavor is wonderful too. My plant is compact with finer RL foliage, almost wispy. Really enjoying this one.

Default George Detsikas Italian Red

Large productive very meaty, almost dry, excellent for sauce, fresh eating for me maybe not as much, but this was the first ones off the plant, and those are often drier, this one even showed puffiness, so I can't really judge until later. This plant set lots of these large fruits even in our warmer conditions. RL, ribbed, red, 10-12 oz. thank you Tam for the seeds.
I will taste the less ripe one in a few days.

Carbon is outstanding, when all things combine adequately it can be superb.

I have George Detsikas growing right now too, and I'll be tasting it in about 2 weeks. And over here it set a lot of fruit, even in adverse conditions (cold, hot, and disease laden whiteflies).

Maglia Rosa is at seedling stage. I'll be tasting them around Mardi Gras.

Great pics!

Yes! Carbon is one of my favorites! Also a new red tomato for me this season is Aker's West Virginia! Outstanding old-fashioned tomato taste. Fruit are all close to a pound and heavy producer. Give it a try if you haven't all ready.
