I have become a bit of a "snob" with pasta since I have a friend who started making it at a farmers market to sell and I can't hardly stand store bought now.
Thank you Carolyn.
I can make five different kinds of extruded pasta.
Large macaroni.
Rigatoni.
Small macaroni.
Bucatini.
And Fusilli.
It took me a long time to learn how to make pasta on my own and had to toss the recipe book to do it as I did with bread.
Clean up is easy just let the dies dry out and knock out the dough.
DO NOT try to clean wet dough out of the dies it is a nightmare.
Yes store bought pasta is garbage compared to properly made homemade.
With my two machines and attachments I can make just about anything.
And again I got a lot of help from my Sicilian friend and his mother.
It was a blessing I got all of this information from her before she passed away.

I forgot to add you can do both I let mine dry for a while before I cook it.
You can never get pasta to be like the hard store bought stuff I have tried and was told you cant.

I guess it would be like trying to duplicate a McDonald's meat patty.

Beef vegetable and mushroom stew thickened with cornstarch and darkened with Kitchen Bouquet.
Sweet marsala added at the end and let the alcohol cook off.
On a bed of homemade macaroni and bucatini topped with parmesan cheese.

Whatever you want to do but I would be scared to death you would think it was horrible.
The brand that I own is a Regina Marcarto made in Italy.
I have no idea how on earth you could grind meat with it but they say you can.

I think I bought mine from these people.
Stay away from anything made in China.

My no recipe made up fresh baked bread and honey butter.
It will go with boiled taters and chicken fried steak with gravy.

All of it looks really good, but that bread looks great.

Now that the price of propane is under the price of gold - we can afford to cook with our gas stove again ... Last year it was $3.20 per gallon - now it's $1.60-ish per gallon. Bread making is one of the things I want to learn to bake better. And flakey croissants, and puff pastry, and filo (Phyllo), and ...

Looks scrumptious, Worth. If I ever break my leg again I will be calling on you to come cook for us, Okay? that is a terrible experience... crutches and cooking just don't go together.

Just about the time you think you did something wrong it turns out okay.
I knew from the weather that it should be time.
I looked real good this morning, nothing.
This evening they are coming up everywhere.
Garlic.

Hot wings.
Cut chicken wings in half.
Flip in flour and fry till crispy.
Use the ingredients you see in the picture plus butter salt and honey.
The big jar is the hot salsa I made awhile back with no vinegar.
Mix up heat mix again.
Put the mixer in a bowl and stir the fried wings untill coated evenly.
Eat.
Best hot wings I have ever had they aren't vinegary.
