Hi all,

New guy here, I sure am glad I found this place! Because of Tomatoville I found Glecklers and have ordered seeds for this year from them and from seedsavers. Yaay! I wish I had ordered earlier, but I got busy and Time To Plant snuck up on me Good news is I live in So. Cal., so I have a nice long growing season!

Can't wait to bite into a Prue..and some of the others I ordered seed for!

Very excited,
Gary

An update to my post a few weeks ago.....

All Gleckler seeds are doing great. I noticed the Red Barn need a few extra days to wake up but they have finally sprouted too. So across the board, they are doing very well.

A great place to order seeds.

Last year, the Gleckler's website was updated on Jan. 16th. Still early days yet-they're usually one of the last to update.

I'm sure Adam will get to it and last year I emed Ellie, his wife, about when the updates would be made, but I'm not going to do it this year b'c it will happen when it happens.

I know I sent him a huge number of varities last Spring and I'm curious to see which ones worked out well for him and he listed them, but I can wait.

I also think it's good to know that Adam works almost full time for the family business, which is concrete, so his website is not a full time business for him, although he loves growing them out and all esle, but somnetimes is just pressed for time.

He's the third generation of Gleckler's to be involved in the seed business, his great grandfather starting in the 40's, and he takes that heritage seriously as well.

Hmmm,

I am also wondering when Gleckler Seedmen offers their seeds for 2013.
Any news?

I am starting to get a little nervous. Wanted to start in February...

Hello,

I must ask again.

I am still waiting, especially for ordering Summer Sunrise.

I asked in December ( i think it was December) when the side will offer the new varieties, and got the answer: in short time.

Now I wrote again, I got no answer and nothing changed.

Perhaps someone of you have a better contact to the owners of Gleckler Seedmen and could help. I just want to know if and when they will offer the new varieties.

Thanks

Simone

If they didn't answer Simone I decided to call today, I did, and left a message and no call back yet. And Adam and Ellie know me very well, which is why Adam gave me his phone number.

No, the site has not been updated for 2013, I sent Adam many new varieties this past Spring and not one is there.

So fingers crossed that all is well with Adam and Ellie and their two young kids.

I was beginning to wonder as I have not seen anything for 2013 but they are normally one of the last to update. Ami
