Thanks to Nan Pa and MissMoustache who have offered me help with a cash transaction via PayPal. It has been confirmed to me that Tomatoville is an amazing community of people who are able to help.

Salt is sponsoring me for tomatoes(thanks again, so much!), is there anyone who can sponsor me for sweet peppers, and maybe the dwarfs?
I think I have had about the worst gardening year, ever! I thought the last of this month was going to be great for the garden. Then all of a sudden, it started raining, and didn't stop! It seems like we are in another continent! Thankfully we are not flooding in our house, but the garden is drowning or drowned. What I have in pots is either pouting, struggling, overtaken by fungus or dead because of the unseasonable cool temps, or something else I haven't figured out. I think if the rain will stop, they will recover, but not in time for the swap. It is really wild, I am about to be 42, was born and raised within about 20 miles of here, and I don't remember seeing this kind of weather in October. Sometimes we get a couple of days of rain, but never with the cold. This is the 10th day of temps between 41-70, with lots of rain on most days. This is what we get sometimes in the spring, but not in the fall. One good thing about it though, it will keep us from going back into drought conditions quite so soon. It kind of has me reeling, like I don't have a clue about gardening! It's been back and forth all year, it seems. Just when I think I have a handle, things are looking up, something else happens. It's been a strange year...I guess it is just strengthening my determination, LOL! We did get great news this week; my hubby is getting his hip replaced next week, so in the spring, I should have a helper in the garden!

It is unreal! I'm might have to try the bleach treatment another tvillian uses when the rain stops. We're supposed to have 4 days without rain, so maybe that will improve things around here some. Thanks for sponsoring me, I appreciate it.

I just got through writing about how wet it has been this Fall. Our fall tomato plants are so stunted due to the rains - that they do not have any chance. I turned 53 this year and live about 12 miles from where I was born. I have not seen this kind of wet Fall either. It's not supposed to rain this coming Sunday - that's the day I am going to pull the plants. All of the tomato seeds I sent in to sponsor come from other sources. |

I sent the seeds on Thursday. I hope Tormato gets the seeds in order and on time. I also included a list of my wishes and the list of varieties I send.

Not sure if my eggplant seeds will be viable. I kept them on there as long as possible but they didn’t yellow. First frost made me pull them. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Vladimir, Heinz 1439 gave me 2 harvests of fruit. (The first was bigger and longer.) The fruit is perfect-looking, with a small stem scar. It does taste a little bit like ketchup.
