Hope the cacao tree made it through the crisis. Iguana tastes pretty good , significantly better than rattlesnake.

I hope it made it through okay too, but thank you. The overnight low was down to 40 but that's pretty survivable I think.

Very survivable.... a collective panic for your beauties went into full gear with those reports of snow in the panhandle.

They all look wonderful Marsha. The Brutus tomato looks like it's around 12 oz.? (To me, that's a large tomato.) I remember reading that it tastes even better than it looks.

Salt, I think it's probably closer to about 10 oz. But some Brutus fruit can get very big especially in the cooler time.

Midnight Sun looks fantastic. Ludmilla's Pink Heart is one of my favorite hearts.
Looking forward to this one.

Beautiful and that heart is enormous
Interested how it tastes and what it looks like inside.
What do you think of Rosa de perales? It sure gave me lots of big tomatoes last year. Very good flavour but very quick to become overripe for me, had to watch and pick early.

Good to know about R de P. I haven't tasted one yet . Its very hard to taste each one because they are coming ripe too quickly. BTW- a very large Tundra is starting to get a color(our) break. Yay!

Your Brutus looks very consistent with what I got last year- good fluting and mine remained at 1 lb or less- I thought it had very good flavor.
