Greenhouse Advice
I recently moved to a new home by Joe Pool lake; I really need to put in a greenhouse but I'm not sure if I should go with wood or aluminum for a frame. I plan to put in something in the 8x16 range. Recommendations?

Our 8X24 greenhouse is made of wood and 4 mil gh plastic. 3 years and still in a very good shape.

For aesthetics, I'd go with wood.
If you use redwood, hand select lumber that contains the 'red' wood and not the 'blond' redwood. Now days much of the big box stores sell redwood with very little 'red' wood and so it isn't resistant to insects or rot. It works OK for a treated deck but won't last long in a humid, wet greenhouse. Having said that, my greenhouse is galvanized metal Steve |

Not sure if you saw this in the photos section but I love the way this greenhouse looks.

How much money? Are you the builder? Go at least 12 with the width.
