Egyptian Walking Onions

I just got my Egyptian walking onions 2 days ago. Was looking for catawissa since they get larger, but everyone was sold out.

I used http://www.egyptianwalkingonion.com/ .

They shipped fast and the only complaint I have is you can only pay online with paypal. But I got the sets fast well protected and they look great. Going in the garden today.

I wish I had known. I usually harvest about 1,000 bulbils a year of EWO. I gave this years harvest away about a month ago.

Thanks Tormato for the too late offer! But all is good. I don't mind spending a little money now and then with a Mom & Pop operation. Will see how Egyptians do in my pathetic Oklahoma garden. Maybe next year?

My main reason for them is to stink away the stink bugs!

So I am gradually planting strong garlic and onions denser and denser in my future Squash bed, hoping beyond hope to find a solution for the major problem we have here with Squash stinkers! They get so thick here that they can take a Zucchini down in 2 days! Spawn of the devil!
