Perpetual Change tomato
Folks,
I am looking for any information about Perpetual Change tomato - anything you may know, please post here. I know David Lemasters distributed some seeds around in 2007 I think, so I am sure somebody would have grown it by now...? I have zero info on this one, and naturally want to know more Thank you in advance! Tania

I got it from David too so I'm no help. Though I can ask him.
Ok well I just went to FaceBook and see you are friends with him too Tatiana, so I'm sure he'll respond back soon. Remy

Remy, Tania, have either of you grown out this variety? Finally, about Facebook. A few years ago Craig L convinced me to get involved with Facebook and I had folks showing up wanting to be my "friend" and I had no idea who they were but of course there were others I did know well. But after seeing some of the chat like: I'm now driving down I 33 west to the super market. I'm now pulling into Trader Joe's. I can't keep the kids quiet so I'll have to get back to you. I made a new recipe for lasagna today. I said to me, Carolyn, you don't need this, b/c I really didn't but it took me a heck of a lot of time to figure out HOW to get OUT of Facebook, but I finally did.

Life would not be the same if I did not have this happy family to check into every morning.
And Tania is out of this world..how can one person do all that she does. She is greatly appreciated. 82 year old KennyP, with his morning hot coco in hand. |

Here's the background...
Original seed - a Stump Of The World pack, from Chuck Wyatt in 2003. '03 produced a RL pink beefsteak. Fruit, to me, was indistinguishable from SOTW. '04 produced a PL plant from '03 saved seed. '05 produced a RL plant from '04 saved seed. '06 produced a PL plant from '05 saved seed. '07 produced a RL plant from '06 saved seed. '08 produced a RL plant from '07 saved seed. '09 ??? 99+% of my tomatoes were lost to late blight, so I didn't keep notes on leaf type. '10 produced a RL plant from '08 saved seed. Like all previous years, the fruit were indistinguishable from SOTW. '11 no trial I have seed from '07, '08, and '10. So, it looks like one of my projects for '12 is to start many seedlings, of each years seed, to look for another leaf Change. Gary |

I have been slowing down now, after the 4 stroke-like episodes I had this summer. But many folks are helping me now with my projects, which means we will be accelerating!

Gary,
Reading your detailed notes, I am getting an idea that you were not growing many plants each year, is this correct? Only 1 plant?
