Default Green Seed Gel

In early summer, I saved seeds from a Zapotec cross tomato. The gel around the seeds was basically clear. I planted some of those seeds in the fall garden and they produced.

I just cut open one of the red tomatoes to save seeds, but this time the seed gel is green. The seeds are white as usual, and they sank in the jar. I'm thinking this is alright, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
