I'm a little late posting this. Placed 2 orders earlier this year of an embarrassing amount of seeds. Awesome selection and germination. The only weird seeds were the Marvel of Venice beans - they must have crossed with rattlesnakes because they had stripes! Can't wait to place another order. This time I will try to order earlier before everything is out of stock. I think I'm turning in to a seed hoarder.

Hi Gus,
Glad you were happy! There is nothing wrong with being a seed hoarder.
I sent an email out to everyone who got the Marvel of Venice seeds, and so far it seems you were the only one with the striping. Did you save seeds? It would be interesting to know if they were still solid black or different. I'm glad that you were ok with it, but if you want a new pack, just let me know!

Didn't save seeds. I'm horrible about that. Always forget to leave some on the vine to fully ripen. Oh well. They tasted great that's all that mattered to me. I'm already making lists for my November order. Can't wait to try some new beans and tomatoes. Super excited about the blush tomato. I wish I had room to grow everything. Decisions, decisions.

Humm... I thought I posted this earlier, but I must not of hit submit.
It is that day of the year again, the tomato pages are up and running for 2014!
A-K http://www.sampleseeds.com/?page_id=65
L-Z http://www.sampleseeds.com/?page_id=4260
The other pages are also up to date.
Have fun looking around. If you see any errors, bad buttons, etc. let me know. I've been staring at the computer for too long!

Hi, Remy-

Clicking on the first link above (for A-K) and then clicking on the link to see your garden notes for 2013 (not the one at the top of the page, but the one part of the way down) brought me to your notes for your 2012 garden.

That's as far as I got...

Thanks I fixed it to say out of stock and hopefully back in fall 2014.

If anyone looked in the past few hours, a couple pages lost their formatting and everything was running together, but it is fixed now.

Remy, I did enjoy looking at your listings tonight and here are a few comments.

Yes, Brandywine is one parent of both Lucky Cross and Little Lucky and the other parent for both is the variety Tad, it was an accidental cross, which I can tell you about if you want me to. Seeds for Tad are not available, only Craig L and myself have them and I sent the seeds to Craig.

I don't agree that the small Red Pear and Red Fig are the same. Will Weaver introduced Red Fig, from a picture he saw in some book of yore, notgood, but IMO it's just a long necked Red Pear, which one can see often.

If we agree that a true Dwarf has rugose foliage and a strong central stem, then I don't see Sophie's Choice being a dwarf, det might be better and I know it b'c I first introduced it.

I grew Victorian Dwarf many years ago but just can't remember if it should be called a true Dward either, as in having rugose foliage and a strong central stem. Didn't check Tania's page for it.

OK, brain out b'c I think there were two more I wanted to comment on, but as I said, brain now out.

Carolyn

Thanks Carolyn,
For the life of me, I thought I fixed the description of Sophie's Choice ages ago.
I'm regrowing Victorian Dwarf next year. I can't recall for sure, but you are probably right about the growth, and it is actually a dwarf sized det. not a true dwarf.
I'm not sure where I got the info about the Red Pear/Fig, but thank you for the correction.
I think I recall you talking about Tad coming from a breeder?

Hi Remy, your seeds arrived here yesterday in Belgium. Thank you very much for the lovely seeds and also for the bonus seeds.
Greetings,

Just had a look, great site, and I love the prices for the (just right amount) seeds. I've got limited space and I don't need 100's of seeds of one variety, so your amounts are just perfect. I also love your flower seeds.

I just placed my second order this month recently; since Remy updated her offerings I found more seeds I wanted. Echoing others: germination excellent, variety interesting and the amount is just right for the home grower.
Thanks Remy.
