Default Indigo Rose in containers?

I'm just curious if there's anyone out there growing Indigo Rose in containers, and if so how are the plants doing? I'm thinking that I will grow them next year in 5 gallon buckets if they will grow...

I've got several in containers. They are growing well but are not setting fruit quite as heavily as the ones I have in the ground.

Thanks Marktutt! I'm thinking I might grow it in 15 gallon containers next year then. Do you care to post the difference in output your seeing? Or at least share how many fruit the container is giving off so far?

I'm growing one in a 7 gallon container as well. I have to say I'm very disappointed in the flavor of the Indigo Rose, very bland, and probably won't try it again. On the positive side, it's a pretty plant and stays compact.

The one in the ground has stayed more compact, and is setting full trusses of 6-8 larger fruit where the ones in containers are setting about half of the fruit, it's a bit smaller and the plants are a lot lankier.

I'm hoping at least some of the blue varieties have passable taste. I've decided to include some supermarket tomatoes to use as a baseline in my taste test next month.

Thanks Dogsanddirt And Marktutt, I've been regretting not getting this one planted this year but we'll see after the season what the general consensus is for taste, and if it's not that good then I'll stay away!
