Default Some of this years oddities

Here's a picture of what I've named "Fidget". It was supposed to be Sweet Thing (Grape) from Patty B but I got 2 regular Sweet Thing plants and a dwarf mutation from the 3 seedlings that came up.
Here's a picture of what was supposed to be Black Mountain Pink. It ended up producing pinkish red cherry tomatoes and a few sports that are beefsteak shaped but small (2oz.) Really good tasting maters.

Here's a picture of all the fruits mentioned (labeled as such)

The mini beefsteak sport is really cool looking. I hope it tasted really good. I saw your ( http://www.tomatoville.com/viewtopic.php?t=2277 ) earlier post of the not Black Mountain Pink and they really did look very very beautiful.

Dunkel, any interest in "Fidget" being included in the Dwarf Project? It looks like the "tree-type" of the project's dwarfs, and who knows what the next generation will turn up!

Are you planning to save seeds and grow some F3s next season?

It actually looks to me like "Fidget" might be of use in breeding other lines. Nice compact tree-type variety, and a grape to boot.. oh, the possibilities! 8)
