Amazingly, I have 3 or 4 brandywines due to the cooler few days of weather. This one is around golfball size:

Yeah, so far so good. The whole idea of digital worries me, and the 1 year warrenty. Time will tell I guess. But this is a canon, lets see if it lives up to its name

The biggest caveat with a digital camera is to backup, backup and backup again. You don't have negatives in a drawer somewhere! My wife’s co-worker went to Australia, she and her husband each had a digital camera. They both took over a thousand pictures and put them on their hard drive when they returned…..Guess what, one morning they tried to boot up and the hard drive was toast. Pictures never to be seen again.

In another case someone brought me a laptop to be repaired. Turns out it was stolen and had all the guys European vacation pictures from 2001 on it. Fortunately for him I convinced the person to return it. (She had no idea)

Please remember to backup anything that you don’t want to do again, or more importantly, can’t do again.

Good idea Bruce! Especially with the important pics.
