Looks like you wont have any problems eating them.
Are they sweet or hot?

Wow, I never tried growing onions but will eventually. That harvest is amazing! Which is your favorite?

Nive harvest of sweet onions. The walla walla variety and the Vidalia's are my favorite tow kinds of sweet onions. I interplant onions with cabbage potatoes dill or chamomile as they are good companion plants

On a technical note. If you sell onions no matter which stock you can only call them sweets unless they are grown in the area that they are named for. Vidalia can only be called Vidalia's if grown in vidalia soils. And walla walla's also have a marketing region associated with the name 'walla walla'

Thanks! I get my plants from Dixondale Farms in Texas. I grow them organically,
I follow the guidelines from Dixondale, raised hill row, 2 rows per hill row. fertilize down center of row by making shallow trench. This is my 14th year growing with plants from Dixondale.

Sweet. The Walla Walla's I cut into chips and they go into my bread & butter pickles. Louie

Wow! Some great looking onions - and lots of them, too! I've never tried to grow onions, before. But, then again, I'm not really a gardener, either.

Very impressive onions!! They all look great, and I love the looks of the Red River. I am growing onions from Dixondale for the first time. Mine don't look nearly as large as yours. They had a rough start.
