Default Potty Training. Not what you think.

Here is the secret:
In order to grow indoor plants very compact, I am basically started growing them sideways and let gravity train the stems. Every couple of days, I would rotate the plants, so the stems kind of curl up (serpentine) around the pots.

Interesting that this also encourages suckers, which also keep the plant dwarf.

Just having fun. Trying something new.

Depends on variety.
The ones which are going to grow tall I started growing them sideways not too long after they sprout.

AMAZING, what a very interesting thought. They really are winding around instead of growing tall and yet still look healthy...NICE!. Thank you, for posting this info and keep us updated
