http://www.durgan.org/URL/?CPUNS 21 April 2014 Planting Potatoes
Three rows of potatoes were planted about twenty to each row. The soil was loosened with the small Honda Rototiller. The rows are three feet apart and the seed potatoes are one foot apart in the row. Each seed potato was markesd with a fiber glass stake. This facilitates digging and makes root watering easy with the magic water wand. The three types planted were Russian Blue, Viking, and Yukon gold. I expect minimum of about four pounds of new tubers from each plant. |
