What do the blossoms taste like? Or is that a dumb question?

Not a dumb question.

Depends on what you stuff them with and how you cook them. To me, they are very mild and light in taste and I like them with a sausage and rice filling battered and fried.

To me, they are mild, a little sweet, a little grassy, and sautéed in oil they have an almost buttery texture.

To me they taste just like the squash, but the texture is different: light, airy, delicate.
