Marsha, I hope all your plants do well. First fruit set is so exciting. Are you planning to start new thread? Please post as many pictures as possible. Our season is almost over and your pictures helping us to survive winter.
This picture above makes me think about spring.

That is a cross that my friend Russ made. Xanadu Picasso( another segregate from the Xanadu line, is a GWR with antho and great taste) X Rinehard Kraft's GWR Heart F1.
We don't know what is in the Xanudu crosses except Surpriz is, but I think it is interesting to have an F1 with wispy foliage, which is recessive. That blossom isn't likely to set fruit due to our unusually high overnight temps. Xanadu is another garden website where there are a lot of back yard breeders doing cool crosses.

Claude Brown’s Y. Giant 18.4 ounces. This is the biggest CBYG of this season. 2 more at about the same size are still on the vine. I am debating wether I should pick them all. Tonight we are suppose to get 34 degrees.

Thank you, Marlynn and Worth.

Luckily the temps were 34 and did not go lower. Next couple of weeks it looks ok. Not too good but not freezing.
Letting few fruits to ripen on vine, hopefully.
