Green Tiger vs. Lucky Tiger
Is there a considerable difference between these two Tigers, in terms of flavor and growth habit? I have seeds for both, and since space is limited, I am facing a heavy choice..
I am sure both are tasty, but how do they differ? |

I think Lucky Tiger is better, both in appearance and flavor. Green Tiger also is a bit harder to tell when it's ripe. I grew both for several years, but have dropped Green Tiger in favor of Lucky Tiger.

Having grown both in same season, I have to agree with FarmerShawn. Lucky Tiger took the competition between the two. I found Green Tiger was difficult to determine when it was truly ripe. It does have a bit of blush, but the taste was not following the appearance.

Thanks, appreciate the info. I am curious about GT as well, but... not likely going to throw it into the mix this season.

I've never tried Lucky Tiger, but have grown Green Tiger and like it even better than
Maglia or Blush.. |

The red blush of lucky tiger is easier to see than the color change of a ripe green tiger, which is a subtle yellowing. I do like them both.

I've only grown Green Tiger. Great taste but plant was very inefficient for me (plant size vs production). I didn't find it hard to tell when ripe.

I like green tiger better, but I let them get bright yellow stripes before I pick them. They're very very sweet. Lucky tiger might be more productive, but my green tiger was planted late and at the end of a row and basically neglected.
