Broccoli
http://www.durgan.org/URL/?RYVZQ 12 April 2013 Broccoli
My requirement is for eight broccoli plants. The plants were purchased in flats and transplanted into individual pots. These pots will be kept in the greenhouse and will produce very strong roots in about ten days, then will be transplanted in the out door garden without disturbing the roots.Sometimes I grow from seed. |

i wouldn't worry about disturbing the roots, in my experience broccoli isn't bothered by that.
curcurbits are the ones that don't like their roots being disturbed but they can be started in 6 packs and transplanted just try to not mess with the roots. i used to use peat pots for curcurbits but i'm not so sure that is necessary as long as you are careful/gentle. tom

Broccoli Planted in Outdoor Garden.
http://www.durgan.org/URL/?ZOYZY 2 May Broccoli Planted in Outdoor Garden.
The eight broccoli cultivars were planted in the outdoor garden. The plants established strong roots by being tended in the green house for about three weeks. This give them a good start. They have been hardened off for about five days. http://www.durgan.org/URL/?RYVZQ 12 April 2013 Broccoli My requirement is for eight broccoli plants.
