I will say mine were hot enough that taking a tiny bit of a raw one was a mistake haha. I'm going to make some hot pepper jelly out of them and see how that turns out.

Hi, they are labeled Hot Lemon from Burpee. I will attach a pic of what is left of the package. I cut it to fit in my binder. Sorry.

I dug out my Burpee pack too, their picture is not the Hot Lemon's I grew out. I got Yellow Fatali.
A Burpee blooper I guess. I'm not complaining, the Fatali's are great.

Agreed. I got 300 fataliis off a two year old plant this year - they are well balanced, citrus flavored, and all around - much better than than Lemon Drop.

Not sure why, but Fataliis are one of the most underrated peppers out there. Probably because the people chasing the superhots can't be bothered and it's too hot for most everyone else. Well hey, we know what it's all about!

Thanks!
Well I wasn't imagining things when I decided it was hot then LOL
I want to make some jelly today - deciding how many to use. Anyone know the heat scale compared to red (ripe) serranos?

Those look exactly like my Lemon Drop peppers, which I absolutely adore! I made a bright yellow version of Sriracha sauce this year that everyone is fighting over

Tam, just to be clear: Your peppers are not fatali. They are the lemon drop or hot lemon pepper, which are not as hot as fatali.

Thanks, I got that
I did make up some pepper jelly - used a little lemon juice in place of some of the vinegar - it's really good!
