***NOTICE 4/6/2016***
The TGRC is not processing new seed requests at this time due a report of infection by the Potato Spindle Tuber Viroid (PSTVd) in some of our seed samples. We are conducting further tests to confirm this result and to determine which accessions are affected. Please check back here for more updates. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Tomato (cv. Rutgers) infected with a severe strain of PSTVd (right). We use this system to study the relationship between Potato spindle tuber viroid structure and viroid function, including replication, movement into the nucleus, and pathogenesis.

I knew this would happen,I just didn't know when.

That virus was first IDed in Australia, which is why anyone sending seeds there had to produce a phytosanitary certificate, but that's too much money for an individual grower to afford.

Then two years ago, or so, here in the US that viroid was also reported here, and of course Iworry about the TGRC,but what of all the home growers understanding it here,or anywhere else as far as that goes.

Carolyn, so thanks for bringing the TGRC problem for all to see and read.
