Default Rusty and Sandy

Sandy is our 10-year old rescue dog. My mother-in-law is in a nursing home and when my husband and or I go to visit her he always takes the dogs with him. They are a huge hit with the residents. This photo is from last Christmas. The feet belong to my mother-in-law.

My long bed in the setting sun. It is a mixture of asparagus, okra, squash, tomatoes; and a lot of other stuff. It is very crowded, but everything grows well. The blooming bushes are Texas Sage. Early this morning, they were full of bees. I could hear the bees buzzing from fifty feet away. I was picking okra from a plant beside the bush and the bees ignored me.

I like it also. It has a mind of it's own though. It only blooms when it wants to bloom and the blooms only last a day or two and the petals fall off turning the ground pink. It needs no special care and thrives in high heat and searing sunlight.

Default Taylor Lake

I can walk there in less than 5 minutes. Local people like to go boating, jet skiing, crabbing, and fishing here.

Tides here are typically 8-10'.
100+acres of sandbar appear a couple hours either side of low tide, and when its warm a village of boaters and dogs quickly populates it.
Very nice to have this nearby, as dogs are banned from local beaches.
