Green Giant for breakfast. Rest was eaten straight-up.

Next I will get some slices of each one's blossom end when ripe and then an internal of each before eating them side-by-side. But I have had a lot of GMG this year so I know it well and have already formed an opinion.

Didn't anyone ever tell ya that eatin' green maters will make yer gut hurt? :-) Are you about at the end of this looooooooong agonizing period for torture you've been putting us through!

Earl,
I stopped looking after the plants about a month ago as someone had to turn off the taps. Now they are mostly shooting up new growth. Had I embarked on a Daconl spraying regime I would be back to pics of setting fruit.

But no. I too need a break :wink:

I have a good couple of dozen big maters to go and that is it. And I had a nice surprise the other day. Looked down at Earl's Faux and there on the ground is a fallen branch with an unripe whopper.

EF #2 has about 3-4 fruits. Will plant your namesake earlier next year for sure.
