Default funny cotyledons

what causes the cotyledons to look like this? not all the same types of tomatoes, got about 10 like this.

They were probably stuck inside the seed coating longer and got a bit deformed.

Yeah, never worry about the cots. If the first leaves really look weird, then you might should be concerned.

Yes, plenty of funny-shaped cotyledons in my seedlings, and all have turned out great. It's the subsequent growth and leaf formation that matters, for healthy roots.
