Default Tomato Apple Compote

I would probably go with sungold tomatoes for this recipe, but I'm sure that just about any cherry would work.

Wow, that's fascinating. Never seen a recipe combning tomatoes and apples before - might want to try! Usually apples and tomatoes don't sit together to well, so this is a new approach.

Perhaps add a few bananas so we have a full circle of antagonists smoking the peace pipe---

Wow, that looks really good. Searching for a recipe to use up more tomatoes I have picked the other day. My husband doesn't care for cooked tomato peels so I will use my roma and homestead heritage tomatoes after I seed and peel them first.

Ever tried fried apples and onions? Pretty darn good as a side with meats and chicken.

I tried it after reading about it (when I was a kid but cooked it when I was an adult) in one of the Little House books. I just chopped onions and apples and fried them in cooking oil. This was when I was young and cooked.
