Florida Folks: the taste of Manalucie updated? Tropic and...
Good evening Tomatovillians!
My mother always loved Manalucies more than any other tomatoes. So I'm getting her seeds of that. I'm not totally stupid. In a 2011 thread the Tropic tomato was mentioned as a superior replacement. In what ways is it superior? Are there other tomatoes that have similar flavor and good for mid FL? I'm going to send her the Manalucie and 1 or 2 other types. When should someone near Cocoa Beach start seeds for best results? Thanks. Last edited by Harborseal; December 28, 2018 at 04:45 PM. |

Maybe you should ask your question with FL in the title so that the people who live there can help you.
I know that Marsha, who lives near Ft. Lauderdale, started her plants back in October, so it may be a bit late for your mother to start any now . Linda |
