There's a crabapple tree on the north side of my biggest tomato patch. It is huge. A dove has a nest in it, woodpeckers work on it every now and then, and it drops crabapples in September by the ton. I have to clear them from my rows every day then.

This year my oldest son and I picked about 5 gallons of crabapples and we are in the process of making 5 gallons crabapple wine with them. I ran them through a Jack Lalane juicer to get the juice and you would have thought I was running a wood chipper with all the noise. What a mess!
