Default woven ground cover opinions needed

Woven polypro ground cover. 3 oz per yard.

I have never used it or seen it in person. Woven polypro ground cover. I have been using an end roll of plastic bio mulch (ECO ONE) that I got for a few bucks and love the stuff, but I'm about out of it and will not pay hundreds of dollars for 8000feet and a hundred pound of roll for a couple gardens.

One of the alternatives I'm thinking is this woven stuff. Should be reusable, needs to have holes burned through instead of cut, and is supposed to be water permeable. Do any of you use this stuff? What do you think of it? Does it put any heat into the soil?

I'm glad that I sometimes need to heat about two square yards of my garden. I use a black plastic trash bag with a similar clear plastic on top of the black.

It is widely used stuff. But just fyi, weed seeds are happy to germinate on top of the fabric and grow through it, making the fabric then become mulch for the weed instead of against it.

Well then...I'll just have to tell the maid to vacuum the beds once a week.

I'd love to get another end roll of bio mulch for $5, but I lucked into that.
