Princpie Borghese leaf roll
The weather here was and is unseasonably hot. A container grown Principe Borghese is my only plant displaying what I assume is severe physiologic leaf roll. This was planted in a container at the same time as several other tomatoes. I went the container route because the ground was so cold this year.
Is this common with P.B. in extreme heat? - Lisa |

The twisting of the sheets with Principe Borghese is normal in hot weather. It is a variegated property.

Thank you for responding Vladimir. I don't know what a variegated variety is with respect to a tomato. I am familiar with varigation in coloration of leaves, commonly green and white. Hostas are a good example of varigation. Principe Borghese looks to have a solid green RL leaf.
Is there a reference for this trait in tomatoes? - Lisa |
