I have plenty of orange and yellow Tithonia ( Mexican sunflower) if any of you wanted some. Instant butterfly magnet. Blooms all summer like your typical sunflower. See pictures attached.

Beautiful! Your so right about Tithonia being a butterfly magnet. A few years back I grew some and my plants were covered with them. Since then I haven't been able to get them to grow. I think what my problem has been is when I transplanted the seedlings, I buried them a bit deeper and that may be why they croak on me anymore.
That was my problem and why I couldn't grow sunflowers. Transplanting to deep. I hope I can grow some next year. |
