Oh man I hope that cross works. Two of my favorites combined. I'll certainly be glad to try the F-2 seeds if you have any.

No one have F2 seeds yet, but as Richard/Medbury wrote earlier he will be growing 5-6 F1 plants from the seeds I sent him,
so hopefully he will be able to save a good amount of F2 seeds

Thanks for the update, I'm sure they will grow stronger.
Have more sprouted since your last post?

Yes, so there's four pots with at least two plants in each, they're all looking a lot stronger now and so i'll thin out to the best ones in a few days.

The three plants that i have growing are doing really well and each clump has lots of flowers with some now with fruit.
My father has one plant in a glass house and is far more advanced than mine.

Coming on well

The plant you show in Post #21 is potato leaf. I'm assuming that's an F2 plant. Did you also grow out any regular leaf F2 plants?

I had to trot out to the garden and to double check, what it is,is in that first photo the plant thats next to it is one of 5 Jade Beauty plants from the dwarf breeding program which are potato leaf.
All three Azorean Red x Marianna's Peace plants are regular leaf and are F1 travis,so looking forward to tasting time which wont be far away.

Travis - It looks RL to me? If you look at the pictures I posted of the young F1 plants on page 1, you can see that they doesn't look entirely RL,
but they are defiantly not PL.
Papavic on another forum told me that his Brandywine x Neves Azorean Red F1 plants, had the exact same leaf shape as the ones in my picture.

Richard - Thanks for posting, I think I will have to grow a F1 plant or two in addition to the F2's

The F1's should be red when ripe.
